Reluctant Romance Anthology

Yay! The Wednesday Briefers have released another anthology! *Rubs hands* and I'm in this one lol.

Sometimes true love is reluctant to blossom and needs a little bit of coaxing in order to come out. But a strong will and a heart filled with determination will triumph every time!

This is a multi-author M/M anthology from the writers of Wednesday Briefs, who bring you prompt induced Flash fiction every Wednesday. Bigger Briefs is an anthology we began to showcase our slightly bigger... er, briefs lol. The authors of the Bigger Briefs present to you these m/m tales of lovers who just need a gentle prod to push them into the relationship they’ve been yearning for.

The Stories:

The Teacher's Seduction - AJ Jarrett
Kale Noble is enjoying his first teaching assignment until he meets the man of his dreams who just so happens to be one of his students. Kale is at war with himself with what is right and what he wants and a flirtatious Dorian doesn’t make it any easier. Will Kale’s since of duty keep these two apart or will Dorian be able to worm his way past Kale’s barriers?

Missing Love - Sara York
Brad is heartbroken when long term lover Rick leaves him. His friend Thomas does all he can to care for him and make him feel better but will he also be able to win Brad's stubborn heart?

Operation Seducing Jayden - MC Houle
A married couple must convince their sexy neighbor to give them a chance at love.

Changing His Mind - MA Church
Zane’s so gorgeous, but he’s heartbreakingly shy, and Neil despairs at ever getting more than two words from the man, much less anything else. Discovering that they share a mutual interest in a m/m novelist is a start, perhaps to better things. Zane’s been burned before, so badly, he never wants to let anyone in, ever again. But he’s beginning to learn that the self-confident and sexy Neil doesn’t understand the meaning of the word no. When you’re caught between a rock and a hard place, is it possible to meet somewhere in between, and see what might develop?

Skye Blue - Nephylim
The trouble with the internet is that you never really know who's behind the name on the screen. When Sam gets drawn in by his friend's obsession he soon finds that nothing is quite as it seems.

Laying the Foundation - Lily Sawyer
As an architect, Chester Jones loves seeing his drawings come to life. He enjoys his solitary life in the mountains of Colorado, close enough to Denver to see clients but far enough away to bask in Mother Nature’s glory. The last thing he wants or needs is love—been there, done that. Why would he choose to put himself through that kind of pain again? Jesse Waters is a top-notch surgeon in Denver. He wants to build a getaway in the country, and for that he needs an architect. Enter Chester Jones. Jesse’s willing, but Chester’s reluctant—between them, can they build something more than a dream house?

Lamb to the Slaughter -Julie Lynn Hayes
Elliot Lamb has crushed on Roy Slaughter ever since they started working together, but he's never had the nerve to make the first move. Now, with the help of his best friend, Tony Fox, he's gonna take a chance, even if it means going back to nature to do it!

  1. I like to read two of the m/m stories. " The Teacher's Seduction" and "Changing His Mind". Why? Well, its that I have not really read about teacher/student relationships. Older/younger relationships, yeah I've read them. As for the other, I like stories about a man, teenager overcoming his shyness in order to fall for the one he loves. But if there are rules for picking one only then I choose "The Teacher's Seduction".

  2. Hey M,
I stumbled on this genre about a year and a half or two ago. I remember you were one of the first people I spoke to. It was after I commented on one of your stories. I remember mentioning something about the fact that I was surprised to be attracted to this genre. It quickly became one of my favorites and I began to make friends with several of you talented authors and left my long winded comments all over the place :) I always was into the non-human/fantasy/were and vamp genre before I stumbled onto this so your work fit perfectly for me. I quickly found that I was looking for the new m/m stories before the non-human ones. I've enjoyed doing some editing and beta reading for a bunch of the great authors on Lit. It is a nice group of people. Several years ago I came upon manga done for several of my favorite authors when I was actually holding a book to read :) I enjoyed it alot. I would like to check out the yaoi. I am wondering if there are any places to check it out for free. Being on disability, I won't be able to go buying anything right now. If anyone knows of some titles I can check out on You Tube or somewhere else, let me know. I have been enjoying checking out different authors on here. I only realized you all had blogs recently when everyone got angry at the people poaching their work on lit and started directing us to your blogs. So, I will enjoy checking out some blogs of others outside of my favorite authors.
Thanks for all the work you do to bring us such amazing work and thanks to the other authors who do too. Reading is an escape for me and I am grateful to you guys for sharing your talent with us. May you continue to be inspired!
