Bawhahahaha! Welcome to my blog! Halloween is my favorite holiday, lol. Can you tell? Every Halloween I dressed up as a black cat for my class. Black shirt, black pants, black shoes… the whole deal. Of course, I had permission to do this. Since my school was K-2, we couldn’t be scary.
I fixed my face to look like a cats and even had cat ears. My class loved it, lol. Hell, I loved it. Sometimes I had morning duty and even the car rider parents got into it. J I stayed dressed up and took the kids treat-or-treating that evening.
My two were everything from pirates, to witches, Jason, a troll, a cheerleader, a football player, and bloody zombies. *snort* The three of us were still treat-or-treating when the kids were in high school, lol.
So, in horror *snicker* of Halloween I’m giving away a copy of any book from my backlist to three boo-rific winners. I'll announce the winners on the 3rd.

*Here’s what you do*

If you could dress up as anything, what would you be? Tell me!

  1. I'd dress as a vampire, werewolf and Demon hybrid. Thank you for the chance. :)

  2. Maybe I can cosplay my favorite anime or something that came from my country like an "aswang" (monsters like mananangal - a creature of darkness; when the darkness comes his/her body will split into half: the upper half will grow some large bat wings, though that will be impossible to dress up like that) so I think I will stick in anime or something sacred like saints!!!

  5. Well if I ever got skinny enough, I would want to dress up as a Sexy Angel, they have these really beautiful wings at the Halloween store. And in my opinion they would not look good without the sexy...LOL.

  11. This year I wanted to dress up as Elsa from Frozen. I'm a 32 year old Native American with bronze skin and brown hair. I work in an elementary school and since all of the girls wanted to be Elsa, I thought it would have been fun for them to see their librarian dressed as one too. Alas, no time to make the costume :( Maybe next year, Halloween is the right time to be anything!

  13. I don't celebrate Halloween but if I had to wear a costume I probably would try my hand at being a zombie. It just seems like a lot of work to look authentic.

  14. I'd want to dress as one of the spartans from 300. Alas, I don't have the abs and it's too cold around here. LOL

  15. Well, this year I went as "cloudy, with a chance of rain". I wore a sky blue shirt that had clumps of cotton balls glued on and carried a spray bottle of water. At random, inappropriate moments I just started squirting people with the water bottle. Guess it's a good thing I have a (mostly) laid back job. LOL But if I could be anything... I like Akasha, from the Queen of the Damned. Of course I could never pull off the outfit.

  16. If I could be anything? I would be Gandalf or a real Hobbit, even with large feet. But there are no real Halloween festivities here. But for Fasching (Carneval) I have been everything from Mountaneer to Princess.

  20. I've spent so many years dressing up that I've been just about everything. But my favorite (and most comfortable) costume was a dark gray sweat suit and a spray bottle. Anytime anyone asked me what I was, I told them: Partly Cloudy! (then I'd spritz them with the spray bottle) Chance of showers. Gods that was fun. But you know me. I'm a little wicked. *wink*

I also have your backlist. So no need to enter me into your contest. But have an awesome weekend!

  22. I would have to say Marie Antoinette, with all the petticoats, corsets, wigs, etc. I've always wanted to know what it really felt like with all that stuff on.

  23. I have mostly dressed up as a cat or a witch, in character in other words, but I think one of favourites was dressing as Morticia from the Adams Family, though one of my brothers said I should go as Cousin Itt, as I have long hair!
