The Harvest:Taken (#2nd edition) giveaway

Book 1

Aliens?
Spaceships?
Breeding programs?
And life-changing events that’ll take you on a journey which will lead to the love of a lifetime.

Blurb:
In the year 2050, humanity finds out they are indeed not alone.

Massive space ships appear without warning above the capital cities of all major nations. The planet Tah'Nar is dying. Chemical warfare has reduced the once-intersexed warrior race to sterility. They need fresh DNA in order to reproduce and have an idea for a harvesting program... and so they turn to Earth.

Earth governments negotiate a lottery, and Dale Michael assumes he's safe since he's under the Harvest age limit. How wrong he is. He's illegally harvested and claimed by Tah'Narian starship captain Keyno Shou. From the moment Keyno sees Dale, he knows he must claim the spirited human male for his own. What he doesn’t expect is a spitfire with a mind of his own—and a deadly disease that will require a risky procedure to cure.

Yes! I have a new cover. And about 5K of new material has been added to the beginning of the book, and the scene with Ti and Colt has been put back closer to the original. Notice I said closer lol. It's still not as... brutal as what was on Lit.

Yup. I'm giving away 2 copies of the 2nd edition ebook. Just tell me:

YES-I think there are aliens out there and why
                          or
NO-I don't believe there are aliens and why not

Make sure to leave your email addy for me too. :) I'll announce the winner late on the 30th.

  1. Yes I think there are Aliens out there. I believe they've always been here since the beginning watching and possibly helping, as we've grown as a civilization extremelly fast.We had to have gotten the knowledge from somewhere. In ancient hieroglyphics their are what appear to be spaceships in them. It's recently been proven that two pharaohs had different dna unlike anyone else of their time not to mention that they looked different. As well as all the ufo sightings through the years. If they weren't real then why was area 51 and other places similiar such a big secret and why did the government go to so much trouble in covering things up. Thank you for the givaway.

  2. Yeah! Glad to see this back in print. I believe that there are aliens, simply because there are too may possibilities in the universe for us to be alone. Will we ever meet them? I don't know, but it's fun to consider.

  3. LOVE the new cover. And of course I believe. To paraphrase Jodie Foster in Contact, there are billions and billions of stars, if just 1 in a million of those has planets, and just 1 in a million of those has an atmosphere, if there's no other forms of life it'd be an awful waste of space.

  4. I am sure there are Aliens out there. The universe is a to wonderful place that we can not be alone in it. But they are very different from us. Of that I am certain.

  5. I absolutely believe there are aliens out there. The universe is too big a place to think that we are alone. And I hope one day we will get to meet them.

  7. Yes, they're out there somewhere. Even if we never meet them. I refuse to believe that only Earth was capable of producing life in this infinite universe. That's just a ridiculous notion.

Gratz on the 2nd edition!!! :D

  8. Yes, due to law of averages. Too many planets for there not to be alien life, although intelligent life is another story. I once read that those at or below our level don't have the capability to contact us and those above us are too smart to contact us.
Looking forward to reading 2nd edition and to eventually reading the continuation.

  9. There has to be aliens out there because the universe is to vast for us to be the only beings in it. And I hope when we finally do meet civilizations from other planets we welcome them and not fear them but try to accept them. Hopefully them will come in peace and not to say we have misused our planet and we are not worthy to be part of their universe.

  10. Love this series. And yes, I believe. To much space, galaxies, planets for us to be alone.

  11. There ABSOLUTELY Aliens out there , why should we as human beings be the only race existing in this whole huge universe , so many sightings of UFO's or other unexplained sightings to convince me that there isn't more intelligent beings in existence , do I think that they are all "little green men" NO......BUT there definitely has to be more out there than just us !!!!!
I also think it would be interesting to meet someone from another world or universe....does that make me weird ???

  12. Aliens are real. We are just not able to comprehend where they live and how to communicate with them. I am not sure they want to talk to us.

  13. My favourite theory is that if the universe contains billions of galaxies, and if each galaxy contains billions of stars, and if a fraction of those stars have Earth-like planets, then hundreds -- maybe even thousands -- of alien civilizations must exist across the cosmos. Maybe they are already here with us, who knows, I would like to think so...

Thank you for a chance of winning a copy of The Harvest Taken, this time with your preferred scenes :) slholland30 {at} outlook {dot} com

  14. Yes - I think there are aliens out there. With all the vastness of space, earth cannot possibly be the only planet to have life on it.

The Harvest Taken sounds great - thanks for the chance to win a copy!

  15. I think there are, but I don't think they're anywhere near us. All the planets in all the solar systems in all the galaxies in all the universe--the odds are against us being (relatively) near other inhabited planets. But maybe one day we'll get there.

  16. YES-I think that there are aliens out there and we are not the only living planet 'coz there still many unexplored planets and systems that haven't discovered...

  17. There must be other life forms out there somewhere with the vastness of the universe.

  18. Yes I believe there may be other unknown life forms in space or right here. We don't know if we are not the aliens of this world. If the asteroid that killed all the dinosaurs is what started it all, it could be the first touch down? Just my imagination at work I guess. LOL. I hope I meet ones like yours and Twisted's before my time is up.

Good Luck with the giveaway, looking forward to the Book 2.

  19. Yes I do believe there are different life forms on other planets or in space I'm not sure if I want them to visit here or not!! I like the new cover and I'm looking forward to reading the book.

  20. YES, I am certain there must be alien life out there, because of the sheer scale of the entire universe means that a planet like ours cannot possible be the only one there is. Earth is but one of many planets, orbiting around one of countless stars, which comprise but one of billion upon billions of galaxies, which form but one small part of a constantly expanding universe. Of course hoping that such aliens are like the ones in this book is just wishful thinking, but we can all dream, right?

  21. When I was younger I used to think we were the only race in the whole universe... but that's kind of presumptuous. Now I can't believe we are all alone and there are no other planets and other lives besides ours. So yeah, I do believe.
By the way, I loved The Harvest, can't wait to check the new edition with all the changes!

  22. Of course there are aliens out there - the law of averages and the sheer number of planets make that inevitable.

The real question is what do they look like? I personally don't believe that the dominant life form on other planets is going to necessarily be humanoid in shape. It's fun to speculate and until we, or an alien race, develop FTL and go visiting I'll enjoy the reading of that speculation :D

  23. Yes I believe that there are aliens out there but unfortunately I bet that they're more the "Alien" type and less the "Live Long and prosper" type :P

  24. Yes, I believe there are aliens. If so much space left discover it is possible there may be others out there like us or aliens with 3 heads. Also with so many people calming to see UFO's, how can we not believe that they are out. They may be out there and trying to discover us as well.

  25. Me me me please let me win and yes there are aliens.

  26. If we are here, how can anyone say that there is not life of some kind out there in that great big universe. Besides, sexy alien stories had to come from somewhere, and there's always a little truth in every story..lol

  27. Yes I think there are aliens out there.

Firstly there are too many sightings for them all to be misunderstandings or fake.

Secondly the universe is huge, how can we be the only the planet with life on it?

I hope someone/something finds earth in my life time, I want to know there is more out there than just us.

  28. Yes I believe there are aliens out there and I hope they are friendly. I don't see how we could be the only ones although that's how we act.

  29. Yes I believe aliens are out in the universe. If you watch the discover channel, they describe that the universe is big, there's black holes, and that there are other planets. Such as when they discovered that one of the planets use to have water a long time ago. I mean the governments all around the world are very hush, hush in this subject. I hear a bunch of reports of UFOs. So I believe that aliens are out there watching how we evolve and helping us along the way. Also we are only in one galaxy, there are many more out there.
    Thanks for the give away.

  30. Sure, I think that there are other sentient species "out there." What's more, I think there is good evidence to suggest that non-terran species, for a time, lived openly on this planet, effecting the course of human evolution. They may have even "created" our species out of native animal stock as labor (as Edgar Cayce suggested in his readings.)

We know of incredible works of engineering throughout the ancient world where blocks of stones weighing 200 tons were maneuvered and placed in vertical walls, such as outside Cusco, Peru, and other places. We are to believe that that ingenuity of ancient man was such that they were able to move and fit these great blocks with only ropes, wood cranes and human labor, but we, modern man, haven't the wherewithal to figure it out exactly how they did it. And that is not to mention that the construction and alignment of these stones correspond to precise mathematical astronomical values (http://www.ancient-origins.net/news-history-archaeology/do-ancient-stone-walls-saksaywaman-peru-contain-hidden-communication-001536.)

I wonder about other things as well, for instance why human DNA is especially susceptible to mutation (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK7566/), why so many of us seem to be allergic to our own planet, and why ancient man was aware of planets in our solar system (without the sophisticated means to find them that we do) that we didn't discover until the past 100 years. Or that the ancient Dogon of Africa passed information down on the number of planets in the Sirius systems that we are now are beginning to find is true.

There is just too much out there in the way of strange pieces of information that when collected add up to things we couldn't have done or couldn't have known unless another extra-terrestrial species was involved.

  31. Tentative yes, I do think there could be aliens. The universe is so beyond what we can even comprehend. How can there not be something else out there?

  32. Yes I believe in other life forms. Our creator has a wonderful imagination. Why limit creativity to just our planet?

  33. I do believe there are aliens out there. It is said that god created everything, that he created us. So why would god create these other planets and leave them empty. Not for show that's for sure. So yeah I do believe aliens are out there roaming around.

  34. Of course there are. I read this novel last night took a sleep break and finished it before coffee. Thank you for writing it. Don't consider me in your raffle. I was happy to buy your book and look forward to the sequel. BTW even though I may believe in aliens I do not think they maybe as romantic or benevolent to the human race as you present.
