Just Another Manic Monday - Yes, He's My Ex by Julie Lynn Hayes

Welcome everyone! Today I have my good friend, Julie Lynn Hayes, visiting. She's here to talk about her upcoming release Yes, He's My Ex. It's a screwball comedy, and yes, I beta read it lol. You just have to love Sonny, even when wanting to slap him upside the head lol.

The Dreamspinner release date is April 2nd.
~M

They don’t make comedies like they used to.

Nowadays, you don’t see comedians like the Marx Brothers, or WC Fields, or the Keystone Cops. Groucho Marx could elicit belly laughs just by the way he rolled his eyes or waggled his thick painted-on eyebrows. The Keystone Cop films were famous for their chase scenes—just good old-fashioned fun—while Harold Lloyd swung perilously off the end of a clock hand.

As a kid, I watched the Marx Brothers and WC Fields, Joe E Brown and Mae West. One of my favorite scenes in the Marx Brothers many hilarious films comes from A Night at the Opera. The boys are in their stateroom on the ocean liner, and it’s one of the most famous comedy sequences ever in which any number of people end up inside this tiny stateroom, and you sit in the audience wondering who else can possibly fit.

There were also romantic comedies too, films like Jimmy Cagney in Boy Meets Girl, in which he presents the formula for every love story ever told: boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl. Of course, it’s fun to turn that trope around and change it to: boy meets boy, boy loses boy, boy gets boy. Because two men in love?

You can never go wrong, right?

I loved Doris Day as I was growing up, and she made some very funny romantic comedies. In one, she was dragged out of bed by an irate Rock Hudson and carried through the streets in her pajames to the scene of the crime—the bachelor pad she had so viciously “decorated” for him, thinking he was nothing more than a playboy on the  make. In another film, The Glass Bottom Boat, Doris got a job with the Space Agency and met a handsome astrophysicist, played by Rod Taylor, who took a liking to her, but the suspicious people at NASA thought Doris was a Russian spy, and things just went crazy from there... Of course, all’s well that ends well. You can’t very well have a romantic comedy that ends badly, that makes it a tragedy, doesn’t it?

That’s what I’ve tried to do with Yes, He’s My Ex. It started out as a flash fiction on my blog, a simple story about an ex-boyfriend who couldn’t seem to get it through his thick head that they were over. But then things began to happen. A cry for help leads Tim into a race to save Sonny. Goofy gangster, a dumb ex-boyfriend, and the FBI... what else can happen to Sonny and Tim? Read Yes He’s My Ex and find out!

Thanks for having me here today, it’s been fun!

Blurb:
Sometimes Sonny Scrignoli forgets he’s Tim Mansfield’s ex. He waltzes in and out of Tim’s apartment like he still lives there, driving Tim crazy. Is it really so hard to remember they’ve broken up? Then again, maybe Tim should quit having sex with him.

When Sonny disappears for two weeks, Tim can’t help but be concerned. A strange phone call and a mysterious cry for help leads Tim on a desperate search for his ex.

Sonny’s in big trouble, and it’s Tim to the rescue! He’s the only one who can save his ex from a fate worse than death. Bumbling gangsters, a thick-headed former boyfriend, and secretive FBI agents lead Tim and Sonny on a merry chase full of laughs and quirks.

Excerpt:
Sonny’s real name is Mario, but he’s been called Sonny since he was a small bambino, as his mother puts it, so Sonny it is. Sonny stands almost six foot tall in his bare feet, which are surprisingly small for a man, almost dainty. He has chocolate brown hair that grows thick but not long, and generally looks tousled; blue eyes so dark that sometimes they look purple in the proper light, framed behind silver wire spectacles; a generous nose and wide sweet lips which have been known to give the most amazing head this side of anywhere. Put that with the body of an Adonis, and you have Sonny.
I had Sonny, but not anymore. He seems not to realize that, though. At least not most of the time. Hence the part where I see him more often than should be considered normal for someone who’s my ex. Which is where I began.
Sometimes I think he forgets that he has indeed attained that past participle ex-boyfriend status. Granted, it’s only been six months. His mother tells me he just needs time to adjust, please don’t be too hard on her boy. Yes, I still see her too. On a rather regular basis, in fact. Hard not to, when she’s my mother’s best friend. Lucky me. Lia’s a nice lady, I love her to death. But she has this deep-seated belief that Sonny and I are going to get back together again, a belief he seems to share. Along with my mother. And most of our friends.
No one seems to listen to me when I say snowballs rolling along the floor of Hell have a better chance of survival than our relationship. Least of all Sonny. I guess that’s why he keeps coming over here, because in some strange deranged naïve corner of his mind, there’s still an us, and he isn’t an ex. So he wanders over whenever he wants. Sometimes he calls, sometimes he doesn’t. Today he called.
Sometimes I just get tired of telling him no. Some days I don’t even get that far. Today, I didn’t want to waste my breath, so I just said, “Fine. As long as you promise to behave.”
By behave, I mean quit assuming we’re going to have sex. Even if sometimes we do. I know, I know, he’s my ex, right?
Sometimes I just don’t know where to draw that fine line, I think. No wonder the boy’s confused.

Meet the author:
Julie Lynn Hayes was reading at the age of two and writing by the age of nine and always wanted to be a writer when she grew up. Two marriages, five children, and more than forty years later, that is still her dream. She blames her younger daughters for introducing her to yaoi and the world of M/M love, a world which has captured her imagination and her heart and fueled her writing in ways she'd never dreamed of before. She especially loves stories of two men finding true love and happiness in one another's arms and is a great believer in the happily ever after. She lives in St. Louis with her daughter Sarah and two cats, loves books and movies, and hopes to be a world traveler some day. She enjoys crafts, such as crocheting and cross stitch, knitting and needlepoint and loves to cook. While working a temporary day job, she continues to write her books and stories and reviews, which she posts in various places on the internet. Her family thinks she is a bit off, but she doesn't mind. Marching to the beat of one's own drummer is a good thing, after all.  Her published works can be found at Dreamspinner Press, Amber Quill Press, MuseitUp Publishing, Torquere Press, and eXtasy Books, and coming soon to Wayward Ink Publishing and Prizm Publishing. She has also begun to self-publish and is an editor at MuseitUp.

Tease Me Thursday Week #3 - Priceless

Welcome to week 3 of Tease Me Thursday! It's not quite Friday, and you're feeling like some fun from your favorite authors and authors you haven't met ye? Well, come on in, have a seat, and most of all... have fun! For this hop you post 7 paragraphs or 7 sentences or 7 words. It can be from a WIP or something published.

For this week, I thought I’d do something from Priceless, book #1 in the Gods series.

* * * *

“Garrett,” Randy gasped as Garrett found a particularly good spot, “there’s gotta be cameras in here.”

Garrett held Randy tightly for a moment, their bodies crushed together, before he released him and moved away. He mumbled under his breath about how could Randy think, much less clearly, at that moment. Randy leaned against the elevator wall, eyes closed, and tried to bring his rampaging body under control. The elevator dinged and lurched to a stop, causing Randy to stumble into Garrett. He slid his arm around Randy to steady him and didn’t let go when the doors parted. Garrett pulled Randy toward his suite, throwing the door open. Once inside he slammed the door shut, spun Randy around, and trapped him against the back of the door. He slammed his mouth over Randy’s, picking up where he left off in the elevator until Randy was gasping for air.

“Let me be very clear,” Garrett panted into his mouth. “I want you in my bed. I want you desperate, wild, and begging.”

“I’m to the desperate phase now.” Randy trembled, trapped between him and the door. “Wild is right around the corner, and begging isn’t far behind.”

Garrett’s thumb traced over Randy’s swollen bottom lip. “That’s what I like about you, Randy, you speak your mind and don’t play games. I can’t tell you what a turn on that is for me.”

“I don’t have the first clue how to play games like you’re talking about, nor do I want to.”

“And thank God for it.” That jaded little devil on Garrett’s shoulder rolled his eyes. This guy either was very good, or very innocent. “Now, let me show you my bedroom. I can’t wait much longer to have you in my bed.”

What inspired you to start writing?

I always enjoyed writing as a kid. I wrote throughout my teens and early twenties. When college and kids came, I put it away. I came back to it about a two years ago. Last year, I finally decided to seek publication and was pleasantly surprised when that happened.

What, in your opinion, are the most important elements of good writing?

Good writing requires many elements in my opinion. First, being able to write and get to the point, without overloading with unnecessary words, and metaphors and similes is important. I like writing that is crisp and clean, that avoids passive voice, and avoids overuse of adverbs.

Setting and characters are just as important as plot. Characters can't be out there in white space (no mention of setting). Good writing weaves setting into the interactions of the characters and avoids paragraphs of description. One thing to remember with main characters is depth. They need histories, futures, wants and desires, likes and dislikes and faults. Good writing makes characters real, human. Secondary characters are just as important. It isn't all about the MCs. Paying attention to secondary characters creates additional layers in a story, but shouldn’t muddy it up.

Plot!!! Plot, plot, plot! Have one! Also, good writing follows the mechanics of story writing. Every story, play, movie, TV show, etc. follow a story arc. Ignore that and the reader will be thrown off and may feel cheated. I don’t plot out my stories on paper, but in my head, I’m always thinking about the plot points and where they fall in the story.

What comes first, the plot or characters?

It's different with every story. Curiosity Killed Shaney came about from the statement, "Someday your curiosity will get the better of you." My short story Waiting for Snow, came from the idea of a man shunned by his family and church for being gay. On Christmas Eve, he’s standing outside of that church while mass is going on inside. He is alone, having lost everything. I also added another idea to that story about finding love at a stop light. The idea for my most recent story I submitted came from wanting to do a unique vampire story and reading about the concept of Tabula Rosa (blank slate) online. What if, as a vampire, you bit someone and wiped his or her mind clean? All a story needs is one seed of an idea and it can roll down that slope and gain speed and before you know it that story is something awesome!

Tell us something about your newest release that is NOT in the blurb.

The main character Shaney, is not just curious, he's pretty funny too from what readers are telling me. I received a message from a reader who said her kids were giving her strange looks because she was laughing out loud while reading. Some of the things he does and thinks are way outside of the box. He's very creative. And of course, curious!

Are you working on anything at the present you would like to tell us about?

I have several WIPs. The one everyone can enjoy now is my weekly flash fiction, serial novel, Diventando: Becoming. I am part of a group called Wednesday Briefs, that does weekly flash fiction using a list of prompts provided our leader. Each week, I post an installment to Owen’s story, which is currently at week #25. The final length of the story will be around 60,000 words. In the story, Owen has been sick with leukemia over half of his life. When his illness returns for the last time, he decides enough is enough and that he will spend his remaining time living life to the fullest. At that time, he meets Turk, a gorgeous car enthusiast who is also a college professor. Before Owen has a chance to spend any time with Turk, his illness returns. At that point Owen heads to the doctors to find out how much time he has left. Not only is he told that he is not dying, but also that he's never had leukemia. What Owen finds out is actually inside of him is worse than death from any cancer and what roll Turk has in that reality is even more surprising.

Check out Owen’s story at JC Wallace Wednesday Briefs.

Thanks for stopping by! Tomorrow, the blog tour will visit the blog Full Moon Dreaming! Hope to see you there!

Blurb: Shaney's curiosity is always getting him into trouble, including stumbling into a ritualistic circle and being imbued with an energy that will eventually tear him apart. He soon finds out that Hudson, a man he cares for deeply, might be responsible for his misfortune. Add in the betrayal by his best friend Todd and the desire of a demented occultist named Silas to control the energy inside of him and there seems to be no way out. Can Shaney find a way to rid his body of the nefarious energy before he dies a horrible death?

Excerpt

“How old are you?” Shaney asked. The silence was driving him batty.
The side of Hudson’s jaw twitched. “Twenty-six.”
“And Hudson. Is that like Rock Hudson or the Hudson River?
Another flinch of that muscle but that movement wasn’t an angry twitch. The man couldn’t be nervous, could he?
“Hudson River.”
“Cool. Named after a river. I think I was named after a three-year-old. Is your middle name River?”
“No.”
“Does anyone call you Huds for short?”
“No.”
“Uh-huh.”
And those were the last words they spoke to each other until they reached the cabin.
As the trees thinned, the one-story fishing cabin came into view. Not as eerie as Shaney had pictured in his head. The green paint was weathered and a few shingles were missing, but overall the building was well-maintained. The windows were the old metal frame kind with single panes of glass. Definitely a summer cabin. Winters in the Adirondacks got down right bitter, often dipping into the double-digit negative numbers. Shaney hated the cold as much as his balls did. Hibernation was his winter activity of choice. This, of course, made the other natives scoff since the area was all about winter sports. They were less than thirty minutes from the Olympic Village of Lake Placid. Maybe if they had something exciting, like Extreme Ice Fishing, Shaney could be drawn out of his warm apartment, if only for the entertainment value. He envisioned ice fisherman sitting on their buckets while skiers pulled behind snowmobiles zigged and zagged around them. One missed zag and fishermen, poles, and fish would all go flying.
“Shaney!”
Shaney looked up to see Hudson scowling; jaw clenched tight, dark eyes glaring. Man, had anyone ever looked that annoyed with Shaney?
“What?”
“Care to join me?” He growled.
“Sure,” Shaney said and followed until the man stopped short. Shaney’s sneaker slid in the mud and he tried to stop, but his body plastered itself to Hudson’s backside. Shaney’s arms automatically wrapped tight around Hudson’s waist to steady his legs.
Oh, hells bells, this feels so good. The heat from Hudson went straight to Shaney’s groin and for just a second Shaney breathed in leather and earth and sweat. When his brain caught up, Shaney jumped back as if his body had come into contact with a hot surface.
Hot is right, he thought as his sneakers slipped again, and he ended up sprawled on his back in the mud. Without hesitation, Hudson reached down and grabbed Shaney’s wrist, yanking him upright.
Hudson surveyed Shaney from head to toe and Shaney felt every inch as a caress. Why did Hudson make Shaney squirm in his skin, make him desire the feel of the strong man over him, under him, behind him…anyway he could get him? After only two hours with the plaid-covered hunk, Shaney’s sexual tension had risen to levels that were about to blow his heads off—all three of them.
Suddenly, Hudson’s jaw unclenched and his eyes lightened. Even his shoulders relaxed. Shaney’s breath caught at the soft openness gazing down at him. Butterflies beat furiously in the pit of Shaney’s stomach. He ran his tongue across his bottom lip. Hudson’s eyes intently followed the movement. Slowly, he lifted his hand toward Shaney’s face. Was he going to touch Shaney? Yes, touch me. Shaney wanted to step closer and nuzzle his cheek into that palm. A slight hesitation of his hand, a flicker of something in Hudson’s eyes, and Shaney froze. Hudson’s hand continued up and a light brush of fingertips across the bump on his scalp sent shivers zinging down Shaney’s spine. There wasn’t enough air.
“Does it hurt?” Hudson asked in a low, rough voice as he watched his own fingers stroking Shaney’s head.
Please, don’t ever stop.
“Not too much anymore. I guess if I knocked it again, probably.” Shaney’s gaze never left Hudson’s face. How rare was that open honesty?
Hudson’s eyes flicked down to meet Shaney’s and for one perfect moment, Shaney stopped thinking. But as quick as a rabbit fleeing a fox, Hudson’s hand snapped back and the tension that had been momentarily absent, now filled Hudson’s face.

Tease Me Thursday Wk #2 - Trouble Comes in Threes

Tease Me Thursday

Welcome to week 2 of Tease Me Thursday! It's not quite Friday, and you're feeling like some fun from your favorite authors and authors you haven't met ye? Well, come on in, have a seat, and most of all... have fun! For this hop you post 7 paragraphs or 7 sentences or 7 words. It can be from a WIP or something published.

For this week, I'm doing something from my Wednesday Brief flash called Trouble Comes in Threes. It's a shifter WIP I'm working on. :)

I gulped. Why was dude stripping? The view was damn nice but… “Ah, look, you don’t have to… Wait a minute. Are those my clothes? Those are my clothes you’re wearing, aren’t they? What the fuck?” And why was I even remotely worried about him wearing my clothes? Just how hard had I rattled my brain? I wish he’d put them back on. It would make me feel a hell of a lot better.

Tal cocked his head. “They are your clothes, yes. We came here as cats, remember? So we had no way to bring our clothes with us. Clothes don’t just magically appear when we shift. We had to borrow yours, of course.”

“Of course.” Like I should know that. “Wait, did you just say they don’t magically… That you… Ah, dude, why are you kneeling on the floor?” Holy shit, did we just go from the Twilight Zone to Kink City?

Tal grinned at Kirk. “I like being close to the ground when I shift. It’s easier.”

“Right. Close to the—”

My mouth dropped open as the cute blond-haired guy groaned loudly. Sounds filled the room. Oh God, my stomach cramped… and I was pretty sure I was going to be sick. That… that sound. Jesus. I’d heard something similar when I broke my arm as a kid. This sounded amazingly like that. Truly cringe-worthy. My shoulders hunched and my toes curled. The sound was worse than nails down a chalkboard, but that was nothing compared to what I was seeing in front of me.

 “Oh. My. Fucking. God.”

Manic Monday Reviews - Snatched (A Storm Moon Anthology)

Snatched – A Storm Moon Anthology by Tilly Hunter, Lor Rose, Ann Anderson
Rating: 4 stars (love the cover!)

*warning: Dubious consent/rape

Bios:
Tilly Hunter is a British erotica author and newspaper journalist with a wicked imagination and a fondness for stories of hot submissive guys in dangerous situations. Her work has been published by MLR Press, Xcite Books and House of Erotica as well as the websites Oysters & Chocolate and Every Night Erotica. When she is not writing she can often be found halfway up a mountain or curled up by her imaginary fireside with some knitting and a slice of cake. Find her blog at tillyhuntererotica.blogspot.com or hook up on Twitter @tillyherotica.

Lor Rose lives in Houston, Texas with her six dogs, three snakes, two horses, and two cats. She began writing when she finally figured out how to move the pencil properly in grade school. She started her first diary at age six and never finished. Keeping a diary never interested Lor, but writing fictional stories and poetry has always sparked her imagination.
In fifth grade, a friend's tragic death almost stole away Lor's passion for writing. Middle school pulled a poem or two from her, but nothing like before. High school brought along an English teacher who demanded she write something. So write Lor did. Her teacher soon set a new rule for Lor's class. Everyone else has a minimum. Lor had a maximum. She commented to Lor several times that she doesn't have the time to read a novel.

Ann Anderson is a dreamer with too many stories and not enough time. Reading since she finally managed to figure out which direction the book was supposed to face, not upside down according to her second grade teacher, Ann has been reading everything that comes across her path. It wasn't until her first year of high school that she found her passion for writing through the wonderful world of fanfiction, and Ann has never looked back since that first story that is s incomplete and waiting for the characters to have their own happy ending. When not writing, Ann can be found working at a cafe or at her computer working on line editing or content editing for various publishers which she discovered was a viable career option in college when switching majors. She enjoys the Chicago winters that blow into her little area of Crystal Lake and watching the cats decide if they really want to go outside in the snow or if they'd rather knock the laptop out of her lap and curl up.

Blurb:
Any hunter will tell you part of the satisfaction is in the chase as well as the triumphant capture of their prey. In Snatched, the focus is on the eroticism of the power play between men and their male captors. Sometimes romance ensues, sometimes just a good amount of steamy sex, but in all cases, the effects of one character being in utter control of the man he has captured takes center stage. The appeal is in the erotic dominance and the way the captive would try to escape if he could, whether he truly wants to deep down or not.

The Manic Monday REVIEW:

The Guerrilla's Plaything by Tilly Hunter
Blurb for story:
Thomas is determined not to let the fights with his boyfriend, John, ruin his vacation in the tropical rainforests of Equador. But when he steps off the trail, he steps into danger as he’s taken captive by guerilla freedom fighters. Held against his will, he nonetheless finds himself developing an attraction to the man who both arouses and repels him. And as his captivity weighs on him, Thomas finds that being "The Guerilla's Plaything" is not the worst fate he can envision...

Okay, so the story takes place in Ecuador. Thomas Jones, an architecture graduate from Birmingham, England, is on holiday. Before Thomas left, he and his boyfriend, John, argue. While on the trip with other tourists, Thomas is kidnapped by the Socialist Movement for the Liberation of Ecuador, in the middle of a rainforest, while taking a leak.
We find that Thomas and John are into BDSM, and Thomas has a thing for cuffs and rope, it seems. He reacts when Alvaro Ramirez, his kidnapper, binds him… which causes all sort of confusing emotions.
I enjoyed the story. I’m not even sure it would fall under dub-con because Thomas did consent. The why of it may be suspect. Was he suffering from Stockholm Syndrome? Maybe. Alvaro blew hot and cold. Hey, he’s a kidnapper. They tend to do that. But things aren’t what they appear, either, with our kidnapper. What do I mean? Read the book, lol. ;)

The Two of Us by Lor Rose
Blurb for story:
Bryce's life changes forever the night that he and his boyfriend are brutally attacked by creatures that seem like they can only be demonic. He's sure, when they carry him off, that he's being packed off for lunch, so it's a shock when he finds that one of his captors is not the horror that he expected. As their attraction grows, it could be "The Two of Us" against the world.

Okay, first off the bat: I didn’t like the story, but that’s because I’m not into horror stories/movies. It’s brutal, bloody, and savage. Absolutely chilling. Seeing/reading someone ripped to shreds doesn’t do it for me. I didn’t realize it was this savage, (my fault; the blurb did SAY they were brutally attacked). The story flows nicely and is well written. It keeps you on edge and has a solid plot. Doing paranormal in the length that’s required for an anthology, and making it good, is damn impressive. This story did that. So, while I didn’t like it, I can appreciate the elements to it. If that’s your thing, this would be right down your alley.
Xanthos, a horse-like creature that’s as hard as stone, must consume human hearts to survive. Bryce and his fuck buddy are attacked while necking in their car. Bryce watches as the horse creatures maul the other guy… then eat him. While he’s still alive. And Bryce is totally entranced by the slaughter. Bryce is taken by the creatures, but Xanthos comes to realize Bryce is as cold as he is. He finds that Bryce is the perfect one for him.

Feel the Wind by Ann Anderson
Blurb for story:
As a member of the lesser nobility, Micah has never truly been able to "Feel the Wind" of freedom, and he and his family are not exempt from the brutality of the highest of the nobles. When he is imprisoned, hunted for sport, and captured by Ari, one of the realm's Princes, he feels that his life is over. But when an escape attempt leads him to the bed of Dhea, Ari's brother, he finds that there is much more to live for... and at the same time, so much more danger than he knows.

Six years Micha has longed for freedom, and finally, he’s given a chance to earn it.
In this world, the people have gifts. Micha’s gift is wind. Micha is imprisoned, then given the chance to win his freedom. Nobles, who also have various gifts, will hunt him. In order to gain his freedom, Micha must avoid capture by the nobles for a day. He uses his gift of wind to help him, but in the end he sees there’s no escape, so he picks Prince Ari and is enslaved to the lovely prince. As they explore their desires, Dhea, another prince, takes an interest in Micah. Micah engages in a ménage with Ari and his brother, DheaDhea has certain needs that he thinks Micah can help satisfy.
I enjoyed this very much. It’s a hot dub-con story. The sex sizzles. But be warned, there is a rape scene.

Ti and Colt's deleted scene from The Harvest: Taken

Okay, so some of ya have told me you miss the original BDSM scene between Ti and Colt. It's the one where Ti punished Colt for throwing that match. The one Colt threw on purpose.
I went into my doc's and found the scene. I don't think it's the one that was posted on Literotica, but it may be close. It's been too long ago and I've gone over this too many times to remember lol.
WARNING: <<< See the big letters? The scene was changed in the book for a reason. It was considered too graphic and too close to rape. It is brutal. So, be warned. It is S&M and it may be hard to handle. This was the one scene in Harvest that really worried me when it posted. And turned out to be too much for publication.
~M
* * * *

Suddenly another door opened and Ti dragged a blindfolded Colt into the room. His hands were tied in front of him and all he had on was a pair of loose black shorts. Ti pushed him into the middle of the room where a chain hung from the ceiling. Grabbing his tied hands, he fastened them to a heavy S-hook on the end of the chain and pulled it up until Colt’s hands were above his head. Colt’s feet were still on the floor, but the tension from the chain was such that every muscle in Colt’s body was delineated. I knew it had to hurt, but… there was no denying he looked beautiful displayed that way. Ti didn’t stop to admire his mate, though. He stepped up to him and grabbed his chin, forcing his face around in our direction. I saw that Ti still had the control for the chain in his other hand.
“You want to know if they are here, don’t you, mate?” Ti asked.
“Si,” Colt said, that gravelly voice full of something that sounded suspiciously like pride.
“They are. They’re here to watch as I punish you for throwing that fight. You did throw that fight, didn’t you?”
“Yes, I did.” There was no remorse in his answer.
“Why?” Ti asked, still holding Colt’s chin.
“To make you give me what I want, so Dale will understand I need this.” Colt’s voice rasped across my nerves and I squirmed on Keyno’s lap.
“You forget your place, mate. You forget our bargain. I should release you now and abandon you to whoever would have you. Which would be… who, mate? Who else would do for you what I do? Who else could do for you what I do?”
Colt said nothing, but I saw a very fine tremor run through his body. Ti’s thumb stabbed the button on the control for the chain and it retracted another fraction of an inch. Colt was balanced on the balls of his feet now.
“Answer me.” Ti’s voice held that soft, sibilant hiss I’d heard earlier during Colt’s match.
“Nobody else could do for me what you do.” Colt tone wasn’t submissive. It was mocking, and a half-smile played at the corner of his mouth.
“You embarrassed yourself today.” Ti stated calmly. The chain retracted another notch. “You embarrassed me today, and I don’t particularly care what your reasons were.” The chain retracted again, and Colt was now precariously balanced on the very tips of his toes.
Ti dropped the control for the chain and stood next to Colt so that he’d be able to feel the heat from Ti’s body, but he didn’t touch him. Ti threaded his fingers through Colt’s silky black hair and violently jerked his head back, putting his entire body off balance.
“How dare you. How dare you try to take control… my control,” Ti said quietly and that made me more nervous than if he had shouted.
Ti stepped away from Colt and walked over to a table that was in the room. He picked up a whip that reminded me of a bullwhip, only it was much shorter in length, and walked back to Colt. He again grabbed Colt’s chin and held the whip up to his lips.
“Kiss it,” Ti demanded.
“No.”
“Very well, then.” Ti very calmly yanked Colt’s shorts off, leaving him gloriously nude.
Colt was as well endowed as my mate, just as long and thick as Keyno, and already half hard, which made me raise an eyebrow. Ti stepped back and uncoiled the whip. I grabbed the handles of the chair, knowing what was coming, determined to watch it no matter what. There was no easing into it; Ti let the whip fly with all the force he had in those strong muscular arms of his. The sound of the whip screamed through the air and landed on Colt’s back with frightening accuracy.
Colt flinched, but never made a sound. His cock jumped, though, and fully hardened. Ti whipped him for what seemed like forever, taking his time to choose where the next blow would land. Colt was breathing hard and sweating, but he never cried out. I, on the other hand, jumped in sympathy every time that whip landed. Red streaks decorated his back, and in some places blood freely dripped down to his rounded ass.
Keyno wrapped his arms around me to hold me still, and I noticed there was quite a bulge under me. Again, Ti held the whip to Colt’s lips, and again Colt refused to kiss it. Ti went to the table and traded the small bullwhip for a cat o’ nine tails that looked like it had metal spikes on several of its ends. Ti stepped behind him and rained blows from his upper back to his ass until finally Colt cried out. Ti again grabbed him by the hair and jerked his head back.
“Kiss it,” Ti hissed.
Very gently, Colt ran his lips across the whip, tasting his blood and sweat on it.
“Good,” Ti said softly. The menace in him was absolutely clear and made me shiver.
Quickly, Ti lowered the chain and Colt dropped to one knee before catching himself. Ti grabbed him by the hair and dragged him over to a full-body harness suspended from the ceiling near where Keyno and I were sitting. He took the blindfold off and for a second Colt looked into my eyes, that small, satisfied grin of his playing across his lips. Ti strapped Colt into the swing. Colt’s arms were tied down by his waist, and his legs were tied open. Finally he gagged Colt. Straps supported his back and neck—he wasn’t getting out of that thing until Ti let him out.
“Do you see?” Keyno asked softly behind me. “He likes this. He hasn’t lost his erection.”
“Dear God,” I whispered back as Ti stalked around Colt. “What’s next?”
Ti grabbed Colt’s cock and held it straight up, slipping a cock ring on him. This one was a little different from any cock ring I’d ever seen. It had tiny little nubs on the inside, and it was thicker than any cock ring I had ever seen. Colt’s body bucked as Ti pushed it down his cock. About that time I noticed the bulge under me was growing. I couldn’t believe that Keyno was turned on by this. His hand crept around and palmed my cock through my pants. I was soft, but quickly hardened under his talented hand.
“What the hell are you doing?”
“Enjoying the show,” Keyno answered. “This isn’t anything I haven’t seen before, love.”
“Holy mother of God,” I groaned as he teased me through my pants. “Well, it’s fucking new to me.”
Ti opened a jar and greased his hand. Colt whimpered through his gag.
“Wait until you see what’s coming next.”
“That’s right, my mate, I'm going to stuff you full. You will scream for me before I fuck you.”
Only muffled sounds came from Colt, but the self-satisfaction and mockery were finally gone from his eyes. And it was too late.
“Throw a fight, will you? One that I know you were more than capable of winning,” Ti hissed loudly while Colt tried to twist in the harness. “Attempt to wrest control from me? When we have an understanding about how things work in this house. I’m disappointed in you, and I intend to punish you until you please me or pass out.” Ti turned his diamond eyes to his mate, their red pupils flashing frighteningly. “And Colt, if you pass out we’ll do this every day until you please me.”
His threat delivered, Ti started to peel Colt open with two fingers, working them in as Colt grunted from the sudden penetration. His body swung gently as Ti twisted and turned his fingers, working them into Colt’s ass. He took his fingers out, added more lube, and rammed four fingers into Colt who again groaned as Ti worked his fingers in and out. Then Ti added his thumb and pushed steadily as Colt’s legs began to tremble and moans flowed continuously.
“Shit… He’s gonna fist him, isn’t he?” I asked, then moaned myself as Keyno thrust his hand into my pants and grabbed my cock. “They can’t see…? Keyno!”
“They’re not worried about us, love. And I don’t care if they can.” Keyno growled in my ear. He removed his hand and eased my pants down, freeing my cock.
Colt groaned harshly as Ti continued pushing his hand up Colt’s ass. By now he had his wrist inside and sounds came from Colt made the hair on my neck stand up. And that wasn’t the only thing standing up, either. My cock was as hard and leaking as badly as Colt’s, and I was freaked out that this was turning me on. Sill Ti kept pushing, his arm steadily traveling up Colt’s channel. Keyno was jacking me quickly, using my precome as lube.
Keyno wrapped his arm around my chest, holding me still. I arched and growled loudly when Keyno ran his thumb over my cockhead. Colt turned his head, stared straight at me for a second, and then winked. I couldn’t believe it—the fucker winked at me. And then I had my answer—no matter what happened in that room, Colt wanted it.
Colt bucked, shook, and fought the penetration. His sounds turned from moans to grunts as it slid farther into him, then eased out only to travel even deeper the next time. Colt’s cock was nearly purple by this point.
“Yeah, the more you fight, the better it will be when you give in, mate,” Ti snarled. “And you will submit to me, won’t you?”
Ti shoved hard, and Colt finally screamed through the gag. Ti held his hand still for a moment. My eyes bugged out when I saw Ti was up to his elbow in Colt’s ass. Once Colt’s body relaxed, Ti went back to pushing in and pulling out, going faster and faster, fucking Colt hard. Suddenly my attention was drawn back into the room where I was. Keyno lifted me off his lap, quickly pulled his pants down to his ankles, and jerked mine down too. He opened a drawer in the table and pulled out a bottle of lube. I shot a surprised look over my shoulder at Keyno, who grinned at me and motioned with his head at the window.
Almost afraid to look, I glanced through the window as Keyno lubed up his cock. Ti had stopped for a second to watch us, and when I looked at him… he grinned and exposed those fangs of his. I shuddered as Keyno pulled me back against him and slowly entered me. Ti kept working his fist in and out of Colt’s well-stretched ass. Colt’s screams were almost non-stop. Keyno held my hips and slid me up and down his cock while Ti fucked Colt with his fist.
I threw my head back and rode Keyno for all I was worth, watching through the window while Ti pulled the cock ring from Colt, jacking him off as he fucked him. I came just as Colt did, and the screams echoing around me nearly made my hair curl. Keyno shot off inside me, his barb biting into my tender flesh making me scream too. My vision was slightly hazy with pleasure when I saw Ti remove his hand, unbutton his pants and shove his cock in Colt’s ass.
My mouth hit the ground. Keyno had a barb at the base of his cock, but from the brief glance I got of Ti, it looked like his cock was covered in barbs. I shuddered at that thought. Colt was shrieking and screaming, writhing and twisting in the harness, tears streaming from his eyes as Ti savagely fucked him. Just as Ti stiffened up, his fangs released and he bit down near Colt’s knee. Blood poured freely from Ti’s mouth as he marked Colt. Colt wailed and screamed. Then Colt came again, and dear God, he came, and came, and came.
Ti lifted his head and smiled as Colt finally stopped screaming through the gag. Blood was smeared all over his mouth. For a second their eyes met, and Ti smiled at Colt—and damn if the smile wasn’t tender and loving. Ti whispered something I couldn’t hear to Colt and Colt nodded his head slightly, then his eyes rolled back into his head and he passed out.
It was every bit as bad as I feared.
“Fuck.” I watched Ti now taking care of Colt. His movements were gentle and caring. He removed Colt for the swing and laid him on a table. He retrieved the same liquid unguent Doc used to anesthetize and treat cuts and methodically applied it to every cut on Colt’s skin, starting with his fang marks. I turned my head when Ti knelt to treat Colt’s more private places.
“There is love there, Dale.” Keyno rested his head against my back.
“I know, I see that. Don’t get it, but I see that.”
“Are you satisfied now?”

“Yes, and God, I wanna go home,” I answered. “I hope my legs will hold me up.”

Tease Me Thursday Wk #1 - The Harvest: Taken

Today we start a new venture called Tease Me Thursday! When it's not quite Friday yet, and you're feeling like some fun from your favorite authors and authors you haven't met yet. Come on in, have a seat, and most of all... have fun! For this hop you post 7 paragraphs or 7 sentences or 7 words. It can be from a WIP or something published.

For this week, I thought I’d do something from my Storm Moon release, The Harvest: Taken.
* * * *

It was in the year 2050 when humanity found out that it was, indeed, not alone in the universe. They appeared without warning above the capitals of all major nations. The huge, menacing, and completely unresponsive space ships dominated the skies, sending the media into a complete tailspin. The governments of our world argued back and forth on what to do. But, in the end, they did nothing.

First contact came within hours of the sightings. The question of what these aliens wanted prompted emergency closed-door meetings in Norway, held by NATO. Meetings were held by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the Union of South American Nations, the African Union and the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs, among others. The media speculated endlessly. The talks lasted for two days, while the world waited and watched. Early on the morning of the third day, a news conference was held and details were finally released to the public.

The name of their planet was Tah’Nar—and it was dying. Originally, the Tah’Narians were an intersexed warrior race. Chemical warfare had essentially rendered them sterile. Many scientists, from all over the world, eagerly volunteered their assistance to aid the alien race. The benefits to our own world hovered foremost in the mind of every government official present at the meeting. The Tah’Narians required DNA for their harvesting program. Since we couldn’t duplicate their technology, those males who were to participate had to be transported to their world, which, of course, triggered all sorts of questions from people. If these aliens were so advanced, why couldn’t they extract the needed DNA? Why did humans have to be taken off-world? The story had more holes in it than Swiss cheese.

After about a week of this, a press release from our government stated that the two strands of DNA were too fragile to be frozen and transported through space.  The release claimed that the nucleobases—the four molecules  that form the genetic building blocks of DNA—would be damaged and might even disintegrate once the alien starships jumped to star drive, the method used to travel through time and space so quickly.  People, however, could be protected in ways that extracted DNA couldn’t.

Agreements were reached with each government—and boy, didn’t that take a while—that these men would be returned to Earth once the program was completed. Here in the United States a lottery system was set up, and each young man between the ages of twenty-three and twenty-eight was assigned a number. Once a year, for the next five years, numbers would be drawn and a new set of one thousand men would be collected and escorted to holding centers. Medical and psychological tests would be run on the subjects, and, if they passed the tests, they’d be transported to waiting spaceships. Other industrialized nations followed our example and set up their own lottery systems. Word soon leaked that only gay men were being targeted, but our government vehemently denied this accusation.

The media coined the expression ‘The Harvest’ for the times when the Tah’Narians would return to collect these young men. I was seventeen when the aliens first appeared, so my parents assumed I was safe. The final collection would be done before I turned twenty-three. I didn’t fall within the guidelines the aliens had established, so I thought I had nothing to fear.
I was wrong.
