Teaser Tuesday
Okay, since Beyond the Darkness is now on preorder, I'm going to start teasers from Seduced by Moonlight, #1 Gargoyles of San DeLain.
We met Ward, the king of the gargoyles in the daemon series. Now we're gonna get to know him lol.
Chapter One – Ward
AS NIGHT crept across the land, Ward Tywyll stepped
outside his castle walls. The imposing structure stood tall behind him, its
centuries-old stones a testament to strength and resilience.
Shadows danced across the surface, highlighting the
scars from previous battles. His own blood graced those walls. A hot breeze
teased his hair, and he huffed.
Summer was finally coming to a close. The once-lush
green fields now held more hints of brown and gold. A faint hint of floral
perfume still lingered even shades of orange, yellow, and red began to dominate
the landscape as leaves changed color.
Ward gazed about his home, pride filling his chest.
This place had withstood the test of time. It rose from the earth like a beast
of ancient legend, its stone walls weathered and worn from centuries of
standing tall against the winds of time.
As the Alpha King, it fell upon him to protect and
promote the well-being of his kin, as it should be. And he fulfilled that duty.
But there was no denying a restlessness stirred deep within, bubbling up from
some unknown place and seeping into every aspect of his being.
It gnawed at him, urging him to move, to do, to find
that something that was missing. Only he didn’t know what was needed—he
couldn’t quite put his finger on it—and the restlessness was increasing, like a
wild beast trapped inside him, clawing at the walls of his soul.
As soon as the sun set, its last lingering rays gone
and stone no longer encased his body, a primal urge surged through him, a deep
hunger that demanded satisfaction. The call to leave, to hunt, was
irresistible.
But, again, he didn’t know what he was hunting
for or where to look. He’d tried ignoring the need, resisting the call, for all
of the good it did. Recently, he’d developed a habit of strolling through his
territory, hoping to find some form of solace. He wasn’t sure what he was
trying to achieve, other than maintaining his sanity.
After completing his required tasks, he couldn’t
resist the urge to wander.
With a quick check of his cell phone, he saw it was
quickly approaching midnight. Well, he’d lasted longer than usual. With a wave
of his hand, Ward cast a powerful glamour to hide his true form—that of a
fearsome gargoyle.
Although he shouldn’t run across humans, especially since
his territory was quite a distance from San DeLain, that didn’t mean a hiker
didn’t get lost out there occasionally.
Concealed in the shadows, he made his way into the
forest that surrounded his home. The moon shone down, illuminating the winding
path in its silvery glow.

Thursday Book Recommendation
These are books I’ve read and really enjoyed. Most of what I talk about will probably be paranormal/scifi but not always. Although it’s rare, I do read some contemporary.
This week is: Alpha Dragon's Tiger (The Dragonfate Games Book 1) by Hawke Oakley
Blurb:
Welcome to the Dragonfate Games! Will you win the dragon's heart—or leave woefully unmated?
Tigers are solitary creatures, and omega shifter Taylor is no different. After years of being unwanted by his family and any potential mates, all he wants is a quiet life alone. His two close friends and quilting hobby are enough to be happy... aren't they?
Crimson is one of seven unmated alpha dragon brothers—and most importantly, not the one with the lizard-brained idea to host the Dragonfate Games. As much as Crimson despises the concept of a cheap dating show as a ruse to find their fated mates, his brothers have a point. As alpha dragons, the instinct to find an omega to bear their eggs is impossible to ignore. But Crimson would never fall in love with the type of man who'd enter a dating show, for Holy Drake's sake...
When Taylor is tricked into entering his name into what he thinks is a quilting sweepstakes, he's thrown into a ridiculous dating show. Taylor nearly walks off—until he locks gazes with a particular ruby-eyed dragon that changes his life forever.
Alpha Dragon's Tiger is a fun, sweet mpreg novel with low angst and high stakes! Fluffy HEA guaranteed.

Teaser Tuesday
Hudson nuzzled Kit’s ear and squeezed his ass, his other arm around Connie’s waist. Desperate for air, Kit pulled away, sucked in a breath, then slammed his mouth over Hudson’s.
Kit ended the kiss, then stared into Hudson’s eyes. “I love you, you magnificent dragon. Can you feel how much I love you?”
Hudson rumbled happily. “I can. I love you too.”
“I can feel it.” Kit turned to Connie and pulled him closer. “I love you too, my sexy dragon. Can you feel how much I love you?”
“I do. We both do. And we both love you.”
Kit wiggled his way out of their arms and dropped to his knees, his determination clear in the way he moved. With nimble fingers, he swiftly pulled down the waistband of Hudson’s night pants and pulled out his cock.
Connie was next, and Kit wasted no time in freeing him as well. His hands wrapped around both hard lengths, eager to please them both. He took Connie into his mouth, sucking frantically and using his tongue to wet every inch of him.
Connie’s groans filled the air, encouraging Kit to continue his work. After a few moments, he switched his attention to Hudson, giving him the same intense treatment. Back and forth he went, alternating between the two and driving them crazy with pleasure.
The bond between them pulsed with a primal, urgent need that sent shivers down Kit’s spine.
Connie’s lips parted as he lost control, revealing his clenched teeth as he gasped for air. Eyes closed tightly, his chest rose and fell rapidly with each ragged breath. His brows furrowed in either pleasure or pain—Kit couldn’t tell as he gazed up through his eyelashes.
Kit milked Connie eagerly, taking everything he had to give. With a satisfied sigh, Kit turned his attention back to Hudson, and their bodies moved together like dancers in a passionate duet.
Hudson’s moans crescendoed, reaching a fever pitch as he finally released with a guttural cry of pleasure. The air was thick and heavy, filled with the heady scents of passion and sweat mingling together.
Drops of perspiration glistened on Kit’s skin. Every inch of him was alive and buzzing with electric energy, fueled by the intensity of their shared desire.
“Gods, I’m dizzy,” Connie complained, leaning against a counter full of crowns, a silly grin on his face. “I think you sucked my brain out of my dick.”
Kit’s laughter died in his throat when Hudson threw him over his shoulder and headed out of the hoard.
Snorting, Connie followed them.

~Beyond the Darkness, #3 in the Dragons of San Delain series
AFTER WHAT felt like an eternity, Kit was suddenly jolted awake by a surge of excitement coursing through the bond. A bolt of adrenaline rushed to his limbs, urging him to sit up and scan the room frantically. His gaze was immediately drawn to the hoard’s door. His mates were out there, eager to unlock it so they could finally get to him.
The door swung open with a loud creak, and Hudson burst through like a force of nature. His strides were long and purposeful, his gaze fixed on the target in front of him. Kit’s breath caught as he watched Hudson approach.
He’d always thought Hudson was sexy, but there was something different about him now. A raw, untamed energy emanated from every inch of his body, giving off an air of danger and unbridled sensuality.
It was both intimidating and alluring at the same time. Hudson’s eyes were still the color of his dragon, and redness rode on his cheeks. His long hair flew around him as he advanced toward Kit.
Connie’s short hair was becomingly messy, and there was color on his cheeks too. The stubble on his jawline only added to his rugged appearance. His eyes were human brown and blazed with intensity, yet they practically glowed with warmth and affection.
Jumping to his feet, Kit threw himself at Hudson. Connie slammed into both of them, and Kit wrapped an arm around Connie’s neck, pulling him in for a desperate kiss.

Teaser Tuesday
Teaser from #3 of the Dragons of San DeLain
Rage surged through Kit’s veins as a wild, animalistic fury filled him. He caught his breath in shock. Hudson, and that was definitely Hudson’s feelings, was consumed by an intense and deadly anger that radiated from him like a scorching fire that promised to unleash chaos and destruction.
“Holy shit, what just happened?” Kit muttered to
himself, because he was positive he’d never felt such anger from Hudson.
A wave of reassurance washed over Kit through the
bond, emanating from Connie like a warm embrace. However, it was quickly
followed by Hudson’s intense anger. Kit couldn’t be sure if the reassurance was
directed towards him, but he assumed it was.
Hudson oddly enough seemed… almost disconnected? That
really didn’t describe the feeling he got from Hudson. The bond was still
there, and Hudson hadn’t shut it down, but it was almost as if whatever
feelings coming through were almost… secondary?
Like they were Hudson’s but not Hudson’s. Which made
absolutely no sense, because of course it was Hudson… unless what Kit was
feeling was actually from the dragon.
Suddenly possessiveness flared along the lines of the
bond, along with a primitive feeling of… devotion? Commitment? Dedication?
Along with covetousness, cravings, eagerness, and greediness. It glimmered and
pulsed with each emotion that passed through it.
The possessiveness was visible as the bond tightened
and constricted, while devotion and commitment were shown through its steady,
unwavering glow. The bond also revealed eagerness and greediness, flickering in
anticipation of what was to come.
And at the center of it all was love, radiating with a
brilliant brightness that seemed to envelop everything around it. Kit looked
on, breathless, as he witnessed the power of this love connecting them.
Love?
Kit gulped.
It was a love so pure and all-consuming, it was almost
blinding to behold. The three of them had been dancing around with that for a
while now, but there was no denying what he was feeling was from Hudson’s
dragon. Eternal love—something so big and so vast, Kit could barely wrap his
human mind around it.
The bond between them pulsed with love and
understanding, like two puzzle pieces finally fitting together perfectly.
Wonder flowed along the bond too from Connie, along
with much of the same feelings he was picking up from Hudson. Wonder and joy,
plus warmth. Yup, that was his Connie. Although Connie’s feelings didn’t seem
to be quite so primal, so maybe Connie was still in his human form.

Thursday Book Recommendation
These are books I’ve read and really enjoyed. Most of what I talk about will probably be paranormal/scifi but not always. Although it’s rare, I do read some contemporary.
This week is: Gloombringer (The Summertide Chronicles Book 1) by Sam Burns
Blurb:
For decades, the four families who rule the Summerlands have been locked at an impasse. No one is fighting, but neither has anyone been speaking.
We don’t have time for that anymore.
Mount Slate, the volcano that sits in the middle of the Summerlands, is threatening to erupt, and only the four family heads working together can avert disaster.
As the right-hand man of the Gloombringer, it’s been up to me to convince first my boss, and now the rest to put aside their differences and work together for the good of the world. The problem is that not everyone is all that interested in the good of the world—not unless they get something out of it. Even worse, I now find myself distracted by the Moonstriker’s envoy, Rain. He’s intelligent and handsome and for the first time in my life, I’m struggling to focus on work. But I have to.
It’s up to us to save the world.
If we can.
Gloombringer is the first of four books in The Summertide Chronicles, featuring one right hand man trying to save the world, one future family head trying to seduce him, one woman badly in need of another drink, and a plethora of people trying to keep them from their goals. It ends with Rain and Adair's HFN, but also contains a overarching storyline that will follow the entire series.

Teaser Tuesday
Teaser from #3 Dragons of San DeLain
Connie’s heart skipped a beat as he understood what he
was seeing. But quickly he shut that down before it passed along the bond
toward Kit. That was the last thing their mate needed, especially when he was
locked up underground.
From the corner of his eye, he saw Beckett and Audrey
also take to the sky.
The three of them would handle whatever else might
come their way, while Connie stayed in his human form. Someone had to be able
to give orders if needed until Hudson changed back. He watched his mate fly to
intercept the missile coming directly at their home.
There was a bone chilling roar, then a huge line of
fire. Within seconds there was a massive explosion, but it was still far enough
away that it did not cause problems.
What if they hadn’t spotted that missile in time? What
if it had managed to hit its target? While it was doubtful any of their dragons
would’ve have been killed, they could’ve been hurt. Badly. They could lose body
parts as easily as anyone else.
And he didn’t want to think what it could have done to
Kit, who was not a dragon. Baring his teeth, he answered Hudson’s rage-filled
roar with one of his own.
Someone would pay for this.

These are books I’ve read and really enjoyed. Most of what I talk about will probably be paranormal/scifi but not always. Although it’s rare, I do read some contemporary.
This week is: The Accidental Druid's Guide to Binding Demons by Kari Gregg
Blurb:
After testing as mundane, David just wanted to earn his botany degree and enjoy his ordinary life. He didn’t count on a First Blood demon portaling into his part-time job to bind with anyone near that dormant nexus, though. Bad luck for David—demons only bind with magicals.
The jig is up.
Now outed as a druid, David navigates the Cumberland metro’s perilous magical community while exploring his link to that demon, Jae. David’s father, Teddy Mace, had closely guarded secrets, including how strong David’s powers were as a child, but what else had Teddy hidden? What got him killed? And once Jae helps David decipher his dad’s lost grimoire, will the murderers target them next?
Add in David’s godfather and Towpath Guild Boss John Griffith, an edible-loving imp sent to be David’s familiar, and frenemy roommate Finnegan who is inarguably the worst fire mage ever, and David’s dream of a normal life spectacularly implodes.
Whoever dismembered Teddy Mace will have to stand in line if they want to eliminate David to keep that cold case arctic. He and Jae are hard to catch. Fully bound? Killing this new demon/magical team may be impossible…if they can stop pissing each other off first.
Content warning: violence, blood magic, explicit male/male sex, generational trauma, parental estrangement, alcoholism recovery…All these people are super fucked-up. But you don’t want to miss necromancy, the dragon of Pittsburgh, and a twelve-year-old oracle who can be bought with video games and chalupas.

“We’re practically indestructible, remember?” Connie chimed in.
“Practically does not mean invincible,” Kit snarled.
“Please, Kit,” Hudson said quietly. “I need you to do this for me.”
Kit glared at Hudson for a few seconds before closing his eyes and releasing a deep breath. He opened his eyes and stared at Hudson. “Fine. Fine! I hate it, but I would hate it more if one of you gets injured because you were distracted worrying about me.”
Hudson kissed Kit’s temple. “Thank you. Do you have your phone?”
“Of course,” Kit said as Connie kissed him on the cheek.
“Wait one hour. If Connie or I do not return to my hoard, use the escape route. Go to Kage immediately. Or Isadora. Understand?”
Kit nodded slowly. “This sucks so hard, but I understand.”
“Thank you,” Hudson said. “Now go.”
Connie stood next to Hudson as they watched the door close to Hudson’s hoard, locking Kit inside. When Hudson turned toward Connie, his dragon showed in his eyes. “Update.”
His mate was absolutely furious. The low, growly tone was a good indication of just how close Hudson’s dragon was to the surface. Connie completely understood because he felt the same. He quickly repeated what Torres and Mitchell had told him as they hurried toward the front door of the main house.
“First Kage, now me.”
“I know. And pretty close together. It makes me wonder if we were the only two who were attached,” Connie said as they stepped outside. “Do you think it was Lennox?”
“I have no idea, but he comes to mind first, of course.” Hudson came to a stop next to Torres, Beckett, and Audrey. “Report.”
Torres cleared his throat. “I think the gargoyles had been attacked too. There was another big explosion closer to them this time.”
Hudson swore loudly.
“Do you have any idea what is going on?” Audrey asked.
“No, except for Kage was attacked tonight too,” Hudson growled. “And—”
The scream of something approaching fast snagged Connie’s attention. Everybody turned toward the sound. “Son of a bitch,” Connie yell. “Incoming!”
Hudson ran forward, shedding his human form and soaring into the sky.
Damn he’s fast. His breath caught in his chest as he watched Hudson power upward. The moon’s light shone briefly on the huge red dragon as it flew toward a streak of light coming at him.

~Teaser from Beyond the Darkness
“Mitchell, take Sheila and Stella with you and see if anybody was hurt where it hit. That area is pretty vacant, so hopefully nobody was there, but still,” Connie said. “Be careful. We may have people invading our territory too.”
“The cameras don’t show enemies on the ground, but we’ll be cautious,” Mitchell said. “What about the fire? I’m pretty sure there is one burning. I don’t see how there couldn’t be. We don’t have a fire department, and we certainly don’t need the humans out here with theirs.”
“Shift once you get there, hit the nearest lake, and hold as much water as you can in your mouth. Use that. I’ll address the lack of appropriate firefighting measures later.” It was also something Connie had never thought of, because he honestly never thought somebody would be ballsy enough to attack them.
“Yes, Right Hand,” Mitchell said, darting off.
“Torres? Grab Beckett and Audrey and meet me outside by the front door.”
“Yes, Right Hand,” Torres said, hurrying off.
Turning, he saw that Hudson was dragging Kit toward their master bedroom.
“What’s going on?” Connie asked as he followed them. “Why are we going in here? What about the construction—”
“I’m stashing Kit in my hoard.”
“Over Kit’s objections,” Kit griped as he was pulled along. “Just want to throw that out there.”
There was no missing the scared and furious look on Kit’s face. It hurt Connie to see that. Knowing Hudson, it disturbed him too. Connie would never admit it to Kit, but he was thankful Hudson could do what needed to be done because Connie wasn’t sure he could. Making the hard decisions was why Hudson was such a good king. And this was definitely a hard decision.
“I don’t know if we’re being invaded, and the safest place for you is in my hoard. I’ve shown you where the access is to the tunnel that leads aboveground to the forest.”
“And you’re crazy if you think I’m going to leave the horde without you or Connie,” Kit snapped as he stood in their walk-in closet as Hudson gained access.
Once the door opened, Hudson spun around and grabbed Kit by his chin. “I cannot do what I need to do unless I know you’re safe. This is the safest place for you. Please, mate.”
“And what about me? I’m all safe in here while you tear around out there doing God knows what.”
“We’re practically indestructible, remember?” Connie chimed in.
“Practically does not mean invincible,” Kit snarled.

“How can I help? What do you need from—dammit, I have an in-coming call.”
Connie’s head snapped around, his eyes wide with alarm as he heard the rapid thud of running footsteps approaching their temporary quarters. The sound reverberated through the narrow hallway, echoing off the stone walls and adding to the sense of urgency. “Shit, Hudson—”
Suddenly, the air was filled with a piercing wail as the compound alarm blared to life. The sound cut through the stillness like a knife.
Hudson covered the mouthpiece of his phone. “I hear it. Go.” Then he uncovered the bottom half of the cell. “Kage? I’m under attack.”
“Shit!”
“I’ll call you back as soon as I can.”

“Let the
games begin.”
It took
almost a solid hour of driving to get to the part of the city Isadora wanted, and she exited the interstate. For the last several
miles, the appearance of this section of town had been steadily declining. Crumbling
buildings, their walls covered in garish graffiti, loomed overhead. Boarded up
storefronts lined the streets.
The
scent of decay and neglect hung heavy in the air, as trash littered the
sidewalks and spilled out onto the road. A fog of desperation surrounded the
place. She almost, almost, felt sorry for what she was going to do that
night, but she had to eat just like anyone else. At least she tried to avoid
innocents.
Three young men
circled her vehicle. Isadora guessed them to be gang members in their early
twenties. When the banger tapped on her window, she shook her head. Grinning,
he tried to open her door.
This motherfucker.
So cocky. So enjoying what he thinks is my terror.
While he was doing
that, another one slowly climbed onto her hood. Isadora had to fight a scowl.
He had better not dent her damn hood. She turned wide eyes to him.
He waved at her.
Asshole.
The third banger
tried the back passenger door, and Isadora jerked her head around to stare at
him. He pointed at the door like he thought she was stupid enough to unlock it
for him.
They’re enjoying
this. I’ll remember that.
“Leave me alone!”
Isadora cried instead. “I called the police. They’re on their way.”
The banger by the
passenger door snorted.
“Yo, ya shouldn’t be
down here either. Sucks to be you.” The one on her hood smirked, then made
kissy sounds at her.
No, it’s actually
going to suck to be you.
A dark hunger swept
through her and for a second, just a split second, the fake mask of terror she
wore slipped. Her vision sharpened, which meant her true nature had peeked
through her eyes.

Teaser Tuesday
THE PHONE’S screen lit up the dark room, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Its incessant ringing pierced the silence, causing Connie to bolt upright, wide awake.
“Hello?”
Connie turned to stare at Hudson who had his cell phone plastered to his ear, his face bathed in the blue light of the screen.
With his keen hearing, he could hear the sound of alarms and screams that nearly overrode the fear in Kage’s voice on the other end of the line as he spoke to Hudson.
“When?” Hudson demanded, his face twisted in concern as he spoke into the phone.
The moonlight from the window cast a shadow along his jawline, creating an intense silhouette. His hand gripped the phone tightly, his knuckles white with tension.
Kit slowly set up in bed, also staring at Hudson.
Connie closed his eyes, brow furrowed in concentration as he strained to listen to Kage’s frantic voice on the phone.
Box truck parked outside of the Dominion that was full of explosives. It was detonated. Essentially four or more city blocks were destroyed. There’s burning debris, rubble, metal, stone and everything in between. Embers is a mess, as is half the front of the building!
“Mother of all,” Kit whispered.

Thursday Book Recommendation
These are books I’ve read and really enjoyed. Most of what I talk about will probably be paranormal/scifi but not always. Although it’s rare, I do read some contemporary.
This week is: How to Flirt with a Hellhound (Hellhounds of Paradise Falls Book 1) by Shannon Mae
Blurb:
Toby
Maybe I have an overactive imagination, but the hot guy next door totally gives off serial killer vibes. Why else would he know how long it takes to bleed out from a wound? Yeah, ok, so I asked, but it was research. Being an author definitely makes for some odd questions (someone had better clear my browser history when I die, that’s all I’m saying). It’s not like I’m stalking my hot neighbor or anything—there’s nothing wrong with watching him out my window. Although I might have my own stalker (and not the cute harmless kind), which is kind of terrifying. Even if he isn’t a serial killer, maybe my seriously sexy neighbor whose eyes seem to glow red (a trick of the light, I’m sure) can help me out.
Dexter
How do you tell your cute neighbor that cutting off fingers probably won’t cause a victim to bleed out? I don’t know if trying out Toby’s writing ideas is a good method of flirting, but there’s just something about him that calls to my hellhound. He’s adorable, awkward, and all kinds of clueless. He brings out my protective instincts, and I find myself wanting to please him, even if that means figuring out some of the answers to his rather bloodthirsty questions. When I find out Toby might actually be in danger, nothing will stop my hellhound from protecting him. He’s mine, even if he doesn’t know it, and I’ll tear apart anyone who even thinks of hurting him.
Tags: Socially awkward writer and serial killer(ish) hellhound fall in love; talking about dismemberment totally counts as flirting, right?; there’s death and maiming, but only of really bad people; Dex would literally burn the world down for those he cares about; Toby is adorably clueless; hellhounds have tails, and they know how to use them.

Teaser Tuesday
THE DRIVE to San DeLain was insane like normal, but they made decent time considering it was a Saturday. Hudson tried to give his business to paranormal-owned shops, but there were still some places they visited that were human-owned.
As they walked into the first store on their list, a human-owned bedding boutique, Hudson immediately regretted his decision.
The salesclerk behind the counter, a young woman with perfectly styled hair and an air of superiority, glanced at Kit, giving him a once-over. She raised an eyebrow in disapproval at how he was dressed before turning her attention back to her phone.
Hudson was getting ready to usher his mates back out the door when calamity struck.
The salesclerk spoke up, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “Can I help you people find something?”
Hudson gritted his teeth and forced a polite smile. “We’re shopping for custom-made Egyptian sheets.”
She rolled her eyes. “Well, you won’t find anything like that here.” She gave Kit another pointed look before turning back to her phone.
“Girlfriend, you have no idea the mistake you just made,” Kit said.

Hudson held out his hand. “Welcome to the San DeLain Fire Court territory. I’m Hudson Redmond.”
Kayden shook Hudson’s hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Your Majesty. Thank you for allowing my crew and me onto your territory. I’ve reviewed your rules with my men and women too.”
“Excellent, I appreciate that.” Hudson released Kayden’s hand. “May I introduce Sir Conrad Turner, my Right Hand, and my mate. If you should have questions or run into a problem and cannot get in touch with me? Well, Connie speaks for me.”
“That’s good to know,” Kayden said, holding out his hand to Connie. “Your king has already given me your cell phone number, Sir Conrad. It’s nice to meet you.”
“It’s nice to meet you too,” Connie said, shaking Kayden’s hand.
“I would also like to introduce you to Kit Meadows, who is also my mate, as well as Connie’s.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you too,” Kayden said, once again holding out his hand. “I had heard through the grapevine that his Majesty and Right Hand had mated a human. Congratulations to the three of you.”

Thursday Book Recommendation

This week is:
Unnatural (The Wrong Alpha Book 1) by Alessandra Hazard
Blurb:
A planet at war.
Two alphas forced into a political marriage. Attraction that defies all reason
and logic… Or does it?
The Kingdom of Pelugia and the Republic of Kadar have been at war for decades.
Peace isn’t popular, but the planet can’t survive without it.
Forced to marry an enemy prince for the sake of peace, Senator Royce Cleghorn
doesn’t like his husband, his alpha scent, or his damned pretty blue eyes. More
than anything, Royce hates what Haydn makes him become: a primitive alpha
cliché who’ll do anything to mark his territory, even if that territory is his
alpha husband. Royce likes omegas; he isn’t into alphas, no matter how pretty
their eyes are. It’s just a weird territorial instinct. It has to be.
Prince Haydn has always tried to be the perfect alpha his father wants him to
be. He’s the heir to the throne. He’s a war general. He isn’t supposed to bare
his throat to an enemy alpha—and it isn’t supposed to feel so good. Everyone
knows a marriage between two alphas is a recipe for disaster. He isn’t supposed
to crave his husband—their marriage is just a political arrangement, nothing
more.
But when disaster strikes and loyalties are tested, which bond will be the
strongest: their marriage, or their allegiances?
This MM romance is set in an omegaverse world similar to contemporary Earth,
and it contains mating cycles, two men obsessed with each other, and a happily
ever after. While mpreg exists in this world, it's only mentioned and doesn't
appear on-page.
