Never judge a sexy man by his cover.

Detective Beau Williams is hard-working, dedicated, and professional. He enjoys the finer things in life, but with his heavy caseload that includes what Beau suspects is a new serial killer, he has no time to enjoy much of anything. What the tall redhead needs is someone to shake him up a little.

Investigative Technician Austin Kent never met a snarky joke he didn’t like - or a set of stairs that couldn’t trip him up. One night after a devastating episode at work, Austin sees something else he likes - the handsome detective he’s seen around the station whom he’s always wondered about. But after he makes a drunken fool of himself in front of Detective Williams, he’s sure there’s no hope.

Beau and Austin’s worlds collide right away when Austin is sent to pick up some evidence at the station. Amidst a myriad of twists and turns in the troubling serial killer style murders of Vegas conventioneers, Austin and Beau discover that there’s more to the other than they’d originally thought. There might even be more they’d like to give – unless the killer has the final say.

After stepping out of the car, he was once again surprised when Beau took his hand, pulling him, the action reminding Austin that he was wanted. I could really fucking get used to such a thing. In a short time it had gone from being foreign to something he craved.
They remained in silence. Beau unlocked the flimsy looking door to a unit a couple of numbers down from the car then pushed inside, dragging Austin along with him, kicking the it shut behind them. Beau didn’t bother with the light, instead he slammed Austin up against what turned out not to be as flimsy as he’d thought and ravaged Austin’s mouth.
Beau’s fists clutched the fabric of Austin’s shirt as he hovered over him, grinding his heated erection against Austin’s leg. Austin was done thinking. He grasped Beau’s tight ass that still had enough soft flesh on it for him to knead. He pressed his fingers into Beau’s butt cheeks over and over, the thin fabric of his dress pants a tease. Austin could slide between those cheeks once they were naked.
Yeah. That would be good.
As Beau continued to keep command of his mouth, Austin angled his body to get his stiffened length aligned with Beau’s. The damn jeans were too thick, too heavy. He wanted the sensation of skin on skin.
Beau broke free from his lips but continued to use them on Austin’s jaw then traveled down his neck until he reached the spot on his chest right above the opening of his shirt. Beau licked him there, still grinding, using his fingers to work on the buttons. Austin arched into Beau’s mouth, tangling his own fingers in Beau’s beautiful red hair, running them through the short soft strands over and over.
Once Beau had opened his shirt, he shoved it down Austin’s arms. They did a funny dance where Austin turned and twisted as Beau frantically yanked off Austin’s clothes. He fumbled with Austin’s jeans next. They both grunted, panting and groaning as they anxiously grasped at each other. The sound of the Velcro of his sandals signaled that it was time to get his denim all the way off. As soon as those had been kicked aside, he was left standing in his briefs, his tank already shed.
“You next.” Austin gasped it out.
“I gotta see you first.”
