  1. I love books anyway I can get them. But I like print a lil more. Because a battery can't go out of print book but it can on the e reader. So I'll always have something to read.

  2. I like print books 'coz I can hold it and read it anytime I want without using electricity or gadgets and doesn't hurt my eyes through radiation. E-books is okay if there are no print books that are available.

  3. If its a book I LOVE it! However, both print and e-format, have great qualities. I love ebooks in that at any given time I am carrying hundreds of books at once, and I can read whichever book whenever I want. Plus, I can read risqué books and no one is the wiser lol. But nothing compares to curling up with a good book and flipping the pages. Especially if its an old book and everytime you turn a page you get that awesome musty smell!! So I'm going to have to say its a tie!

  5. I can't say I love one more than the other but I guess I lean more towards e-book. I used to buy all my books in paperback but when I started reading m/m most were e-book only and the ones I did get in paperback my brother destroyed because he said that being gay is a sin and reading is just as bad. So now I only buy what my family sees as 'normal books' (m/f romance) in paper back and m/m romance in e-books. I figure this way I get to read what I want without worrying someone in my family does that again. I would go all e-book but as Maycee said sometimes nothing beats a paperback.

  6. I like both. They are enjoyable in their own way. While I am out I like reading e-books as I don't like to carry a clutter of books with me. But when I am at home I prefer printed books. Lying under the blanket and reading my favorite book, the feeling of anticipation of the story unfolding as I turn the pages is the greatest feeling.

  7. I like books. I am always reading one thing or the other. I mostly read printed books but if I don’t have anything in print I read e-books. But the most deciding factor for me in all is the story itself. If I get my story in any format I don’t mind reading either.

  8. I love print books but adore e-books. Plus all e-books look the same so I can read any book, any time :)
    Thanks!

  9. I love both, but I'm holding nearly 400 books in my hands right now! So I switched to eBooks and enjoy them. There are a few things I miss about print boos, but most of my fiction was in cheap paperback from, so there wasn't much aesthetic appeal. Finally, I get so many free eBooks from publishers and vendors, no one will mail me scores of free paperbacks! EBooks. Until the zombie apocalypse, they're the only way to go.

  12. both have there pluses. with print you have your own hard copy and no chance to lose it if your computer goes phooey. Ebooks are nice in that it's on the computer and you can adjust size and it doesn't take up room space :) my bedroom has 4 bookcases all more then full. so I like both for their advantages.

  13. Although I love either or, I'd rather buy eBooks. They are so handy and readily available to me in any format and I can load them into my Kindle any time. Plus, I have no more bookshelves!! They are all full to the brim. I wouldn't say no to a paperback though and still get them from time to time, especially if the cover is irresistible :-)

  14. I prefer print for cookbooks (I've tried cooking from Kindle recipes a few times--not ideal), graphic novels, and photo books. I've come to prefer ebooks for anything that's text-only, since my house looks like a paper mill exploded!

  15. For reading fiction, I like both but lean heavily towards ebooks due to their convenience, portability, space advantages. For non-fiction, I would prefer print for pictures, ease in finding topic/recipe, viewing advantages, etc.

  16. I very seldom buy print books now - I've not ruled it out but lots of books sitting around always raised questions! On the ereader, I can have then immediately to hand and have lots! I still get books fom the library (as well as ebooks and audio books) for my actual book fix

  18. I prefer books over e readers, even though ill read anything. Thers just something about the feel and.sound of the page as you turn it. I can spend hours with calm background music delved in the world of the book.

  19. I love paper books. I love them because of the way they feel on my fingers. I also love that people can tell that you love a book by its spine. If the spine is worn out then that means it has been read a lot.

  20. I personally love print books there just something about the opening of a fresh off the shelf book that i love and i like going to book signing and
get to talk to a author about a book that was worth going to a store to buy.I just got into ebooks and I like them but its just not the same. I want that sound of flipping to a new page not tapping on a plastic screen

  21. E-books! I LOVE e-books! Print is nice but I can take so many more e-books with me. I don't have to choose between my favorites!

  22. I enjoy reading both types of books. There are some print books that are old favorites that I know will never be converted to an e-book format, and I'll always enjoy the feel of a book in my hand. Lately, though, I've really enjoyed the opportunity that e-books provide for portability, ease of access, and the chance to carry such a wide variety of favorite reading material with me. I'm a lifelong reader, in whatever format emerges!

Thank you for participating in the blog hop!

  23. These days I prefer ebooks. Mostly because I have a 14 month old who doesn't like me using two hands to read with paper books.

  24. I enjoy having the choice between the two. I love the solid feel of a book in my hands, just the feel of it is soothing. But I also love the mobility of ebooks you can literally take them anywhere and when you are traveling its so much easier to bring along an ereader than carry and pack the latest hard cover.

  25. I actually started to prefer e books because I can have hundreds of book with me in one place. I like the convience of that but sometimes my device dies which can be heartbreaking when I'm in the middle of a great story. But once in a while I'll buy the he'd copy of the book if I'm in the mood. E books are the way to go for me but hard copies of books will always appeal to me. I will never get tired of holding a book in my hand and smelling the new book smell :)

  26. Ebooks are nice, convenient and much easier to store than hard copies. My favorite way to unwind is reading a book during a long bubble bath, and electronic devices and bathtubs just don't mix. So I prefer hard copies.

  30. With the advance of technology, everything will come in small compact and easy-to-bring format. Moreover with everything easily organized and greener. I own an ebook reader myself but I felt it was such a waste; I often ignore it presence even when it was dutifully waiting for me on my reading table. So just to be certain, I might be biased about this things.

Even with many advantages and interesting features ebook might serves me, I still prefer the print book a lot. I'm not the older generation - really, no kidding! - I loves the smell of old books and parchment. It kind of remind me of the olden days where people begins writing. The hard cover felt in my hands as I flick through pages and the sounds of the pages as it brushed are great when I am reading it with a cup of tea, in the soapy bathtub, in a bus or train full of people, or in the comfort of my soft blanket on my bed. It feels luxurious. Not forget to mention, it always feels like an achievement when you can show off your collection of books arranged neatly in a custom-made hardwood bookshelf to your family and friends.

To sum this out, I'm just simply a traditional book-lover young generation without the technology advancements attached. Yeah, maybe exaggerating a bit.

But since most MM books are in ebooks only... I'm going to say for my MM books, I like ebooks more. But If I get the chance to get them in paperback, HELL YEAH!! I'm getting them (if/when I can) LOL..!
Otherwise, for all other books, I get them paperback~
Ahh... I get the best of both worlds~
