As for me, I’d like to have the candy. Chocolate all the way, baby, lol! Flowers are nice, but they die so soon. My favorite is white roses, but I told the hubby years ago to stop getting them for Valentine’s Day. *laugh* now he buys plants that I can put in my flower beds. Hope everyone has a great day.

Keep an eye out for Cupid lol. *wink*

  1. I prefer chocolates than candies. Maybe because the idea of giving candies than chocolates is rare my country. They give chocolates than candies...

And for the flowers I prefer that was planted in a pot 'coz you can take good care of it at least it will last longer depends on how you take good care of it.

  2. My fav would be chocolate I have a huge sweet tooth but mostly because I already get a flower from my father Its a tradition that my father gives all of his daughters a pink rose and my mother a dozen red(him) four pink(us 4 girls) two white(2 sons). So when I do acually have a valentine I want candy or a teddy bear.

  4. I would have to say a flower. Not a picked or cut one though. I love blooming cacti. They are string and resilient and hard as hell to kill. They're so mundane and boring looking, but there is so much life in them. Then they bloom and it's just amazing.
Also, they're the only plants that my cart won't try to eat!

  10. That's a tough choice. I guess it depends on what kind of flowers we're talking. If it's living flowers, than I'll definitely say candy. I lovvvvve me some candy, but then again I usually go bargain shopping for myself on the 15th. All that candy, 50% off. Anyway. If it's fake flowers, like the roses made out of feathers, than I'd love the flowers. I hate seeing people cut flowers that are just going to die, but fake flowers are gorgeous.

Of course, you could always just kill two birds with one stone and buy chocolate roses. ;3

  13. I would have to say that I much prefer chocolate. Flowers only look pretty for a few days before they start to die. Chocolate tastes good no matter when you eat it. Thanks for doing the hop!

  17. Being that I'm single I'd love either one right now!

But, if I had to choose, I love flowers. They always make a room more cheery for me.

  18. Wow we're like two chocolates in a box because I rather have chocolate than flowers. I mean flowers are pretty to look at but chocolate is such a treat. I have always had a sweet tooth which I had to tone down, so I wouldn't get cavities. But chocolate will always be in my heart and my better half better know that! :)

  19. This is hard. Not a fan of cut flowers, not crazy about chocolate, plus diabetic. There's a third traditional valentines gift: Jewelry! Some silver and amber handcrafted stuff would be lovely!

  28. Happy Valentine's Day to you too!! lol... and I would always prefer Candy over flowers because even though they're nice they die so fast. and yeah sure candy doesn't last that long either cuz I'd eat it all in once sitting (lol) but it will at least satisfy me. lol..
So Chocolates/candy over flowers always. ;)

  33. Definitely candy. Well, chocolate.
I worked at a flower shop as a teen & having to dress up as the Easter Bunny & a modified Cupid in addition to wrapping about a bazillion poinsettias against cold at Christmas makes flowers a bit unpalatable.
    But chocolate? Chocolate is awesome.

  37. Thanks for the giveaway! Sometimes I wish I was swept away by someone's love especially on Valentine's Day. Being young, I have yet to have the opportunity. If I could choose any man in the world to sweep me away, I would certainly choose Alexander Skarsgard. He's nice, funny, polite and well educated. If I could pick a fictional man, I would choose Jamie Fraser from "Outlander." With his rough physicality, loving sensibility, and fierce passion, I know I would be happy for the rest of my life. I wish I could be swept away to New Zealand or Scotland, somewhere beautifully green and primitive.
    Enough with my epic daydreams…
    Happy Valentine's Day!
I would want whatever comes from the heart.

  45. I am like you, I much prefer the candy, or jewelry works too! Flowers die and seem like such a waste of money to me. I guess I am not very romantic in real life! I get all those emotions out by reading. Real life romance never measures up to books or our fantasies.
